Rengé Shal'Ashen

Elynthi Traitor

History does not treat this member of the Ashen family well. His own people see him as a traitor for betraying the location of Elynthi forces during the Great War. The Soulmeliti, of course, remember his part in leading Elynthi forces into the Soulmeliti Forests the previous year. The truth of the matter is that Rengé, sent deep into enemy territory under the cover of a defector, was always in an impossible situation. In the end it may be that he simply did what he needed to survive, eschewing ideology in exchange for his own life. Sadly, even that was not his fate to control as he was murdered by the Soulmeliti in 476 AC.
