One the earliest Nerrid scientific minds, Randolaf was an active member in the Nerrid scientific community during the Time of Invention. With his focus on the heavens, he is famous for using mathematics to describe the activities of celestial bodies. His four-volume work correctly predicting solar eclipses is still considered one of the finest pieces of mathematical genius in the history of the Nerrid Alliance. His other works, those attempting to describe the color of stars through the mathematical interpretations of their twinkling and the taste of Mora's cheese depending upon her phase are less well known but equally detailed.
