Mithril Trade Bars

Few countries produce such bars a Mithril is a rare economy.  More the 90% of the Mithril, however, comes from mines in the Underground Kingdom of the Children of Kharl and the Kingdom of Galencia and as such, both nation-states produce limited quantities of gold bars that have a layer of Mithril on top.  The two metals do not actually bond well, and it is common for these bars to split into thin sheets of Mithril and chunks of gold.  Should that occur, most smiths will take them in trade anyway, albeit at the discounted rate of 8 gp for the gold portion and 80 gp for the Mithril part.
