A notorious gambler, drunkard, and womanizer, the Baron holds the two historical distinctions. First, he frittered away his family's wealth on vice until he became so in debt to the gambling houses of Grennig that he had to hire guards from Mercenaries' Guild for protection. Secondly, after he failed to pay the guild, they settled his debt for him in exchange for control of his barony, making Calkara the only noble house in all of Tarien where its head is an organization instead of a person.
