Last of the Alku Dono's
With a strikingly short reign, the fiery Mandara managed to die - thrown from a horse that had been spooked by a snake while taking a morning ride - a mere three moons after assuming the title of Dono. It did not surprise anyone that the 12-year old Dono , who had inherited the title from his unfortunate grandfather who died of heart failure in bed one cold winter evening, was heirless, but it did surprise many that he had elected to ride the wildest stallion in his herd that hot morning. His death caused a small uproar amongst the great clans, eventually leading the election of the first of the Delante Donos.
