Light Brigade
One might assume that the large presence of the Holy Legion of Light in Drakkar would suffice for a constabulary. Alas, these holiest of Anderi's faithful often find themselves too preoccupied with great acts to be bothered with petty crime and citizens lost in the glory of Drakkar's streets. Into this void stepped the Light Brigade, a volunteer, citizen run organization that serves as both the keepers of peace and the sanitation crew. Selflessly, good almost all good citizens volunteer some of their time for this service, donning the golden breaches and white cloaks of the Light Brigade to keep an eye on the streets for cutpurses, aid their fellow citizens in times of trouble, and rid the City of Light from rubbish. Many serve gladly, seeing it as their duty to the Light. Still others feel pressed into service by the weighty expectations of Drakkarian society. No matter how a person comes to serve, all in the city respect those that wear the golden cloaks, knowing that their time of service will come soon enough.
