A warm man with a big heart – and frame to match, Henri welcomes visitors to Gryphon's Crossing with open arms. Elected by the general populace to manage the day-to-day operations of the town, in the interests of its citizens, Henri takes his job seriously. He considers himself blessed by Anderi to have such an “easy job” and is considered by many in the Hinterlands a religious man. Still, Henri does not allow his religion to interfere with his job. Unlike other government officials, Henri sees himself more as a salesmen – convincing businesses and merchants that Gryphon’s Crossing is right for them – rather than a government official. Henri, who originally hails from Prydith, lives with his wife and seven children in the center of town.
