Grim Tales

Subtitled Legends of the Dark Fey, no one knows who first penned Grim Tales. Many of its stories, all of which depict interactions between what are invariably well meaning and innocent Khadra with various fey creatures, have been told around cradles and campfires since before the Khadra settled in Khardin. The tales were collected, edited, and organized by Hagar Hook-Nosed.
Printed in 830 BC, the collection is one of the most popular ever. despite its tremendous cost. The book proved more expensive than most to publish on account of the use of both black and deep blue ink. Hagar thought that using blue ink to denote the speaking parts for the dark fey characters would add to the sense of unnatural a reader might feel.
