Grennig Proclamation
After merchants built docks and then a small fort on the Grennig Peninsula, neither Galencia nor Eldoria could ignore the potential of the site for long. Both sides met in 75 AC and agreed that protecting the settlement from Mennith was of critical strategic importance. They agreed to place the Peninsula under Imperial control with Galencia retaining an extraterritorial military base. It was Kalidor the Brave that later nicknamed the treaty the “Grennig Proclamation”, noting than no one from Grennig itself partook in negotiations to determine the fledgling city’s future.
