Orkish youth tell stories of Grat to this day, huddled around campfires awaiting the day when they too can whet their blades on the blood of their enemies. Grat was famous for his ferocity in battle and tales of his heroics include him single handedly defeating a hundred Khadra - sometimes with only his teeth and bare hands. History, however, recognizes him for an even more incredible feat - uniting the tribes of the Orkish Hills for the first time in memory. Under his banner, Orks pushed southward into the Soulmeliti Forests for the first time. Eventually, his decision to split his forces and take on both Solarin and Khardin in support of treacherous Elynthi allies was his undoing. He finally fell to Khardic axes at the Battle of Vorkallic Pass and with his death the Orkish Hills once again splintered into feuding tribes.
