Gonshi Stumparm
Orkish Warlord
Still talked about with pride around campfires of the Orkish Hills, especially in the southern regions that border on the Soulmeliti Forests, Gonshi Stumparm is renowned for his prodigious strength, his force of will, and his love of fire. Mighty warriors tell tales of his strength in awed tones. He once, according to legend, ripped a mighty oak tree from the ground, wielding it like a massive club. Later in life, after he lost his left arm in a duel over the right to lead the southern tribes, he used his mighty war axe with one hand. It was after this duel, his ruined arm streaming blood, where Gonshi's will forced itself upon Orks from a dozen tribes. Refusing the healing touch of a shaman, he spoke to the gathered crowds, whipping them to a frenzy and leading their charge south where they invaded the the Soulmeliti Forests, burning and destroying everything in site. Unfortunately, his love of fire eventually got the better of him when he was separated from the main tribal army and his small band of Orks were cornered in a gulch by the fires he had started. Even at the end, however, Gonshi's legend grew as the stories describe him charging from the flames, streaming fire, for a final glorious clash with the Kirsh'shaluush that had arrived to fend off the invasion.
