Most outspoken of the Human in the Empire of Eldoria on the subject of the Elynthi occupation of the Soulmeliti Forests, Franklin put his hard earned gold, acquired from years in the silk trade, squarely behind his beliefs. Having lost his wife in the protests that rocked Karradone, he joined the growing group of Soulmeliti sympathizers in the city. Despite the jeers he received in the streets and cold shoulders his colleagues turned toward him, Franklin withdrew his small fortune from the Bank of Karradone to repurpose his three merchant ships and provision the expedition to Azermathia. Proudly standing a the bow, he waved goodbye to his home in 530 AC to join them. Sadly, he became ill on the journey and never made it to the bay and city that now bears his name.
