Andra Moeynshiem

Soulmeliti Philosopher

A self proscribed "simple thinker", Andra studied logic and history in New Solarin before moving to Treidarhin to serve as a tutor to Soulmeliti children there. It was there, at a mere 111 summers old, an age when many Soulmeliti were still trying to identify their great passions in life, that she wrote what is perhaps the most important theological work in the history of Tarien, the Duality of Metaphysics.

A shy woman, the notoriety of her success embarrassed her and she refused several offers from the Styvalhyme Family to come to New Solarin as a court scholar. Instead she continue her profession as a tutor, spending long days alone in the Forests, walking amongst the trees, wrestling with the unsettling implications of the logic she had used to define a soul as separate from a body.

She had started to work out a counter argument to the rise in religious powers and corresponding hardships on the poor of Tarien in a work tentatively entitled Morality of Tyloma/Morality of Soulmeliti but the work was still more notes and outline than a finished philosophical piece when she died under mysterious circumstances in argument to these prevailing religious views when she died mysteriously in her sleep, despite her youth - she had only seen 220 summers at the time. The church of Tyloma quickly canonized her first work posthumously.
