Tiber River

Like a map to the well of Uisce, the Tiber is one of the two rivers that can be sailed coast to coast, with a stop in the middle, at the center, in the Tiber-Sumor Aquifer. The river runs from the aquifer, slicing through a part of Susma, creating a habitable and comfortable little paradise within the blistering deserts of the nation, running east sharply at Tiate, Susma's capital, until it crosses into Kang-Chorath, slicing through the marshland nation until making it to the sea a few hundred kilometers south of Haramir. It also flows from the aquifer to the north, in a winding path, cutting briefly into Raechin, before curling back and through northern Valewyr, slicing a thin crescent into southern Depenwood, before curling back through the western edges of Raechin for a time. Then it heads north, cutting into north eastern Depenwood until it crosses into the tundra lands of Suranth, into the Glacial Sea, before another draining river to the north-west of the massive inland lake takes up the name again, draining into the Nor'Westor Sea within the Stormlands province of Suranth. This river is seen as a vital trade route for all goods and all peoples and though the parts in each Nation-State are sovereign waters, there is an unspoken understanding that Nightvale will intervene if trade were ever to be choked at any location enough to effect the trade in and out of the metropolis, and such a unspoken threat from the Empress and the metropolis is well heeded by every Nation-State.
