Ruined Magick {Nightmareology}

This truly forbidden and heinous art is the study of summoning, binding, and controlling Nightmares, the natural beings of the Void, typically to empower the spellcaster. It is horrendously dangerous, especially since wild overconfidence of their abilities is common in such practioners, and will usually inevitably lead to the Nightmare-ologist's downfall, as their soul is ripped out, drained into the Void, and a new Ruined Magister is born.

Your spell disrupts the Void energy that holds a target Void Horror together, and it draws it back to you. A target with the Daemonic Creature Trait and a lower Willpower than you loses Wounds equal to your Willpower Bonus, ignoring its Toughness Bonus or Armor Points. In turn you may increase one of your Characteristics by +10 for the duration as you siphon the profane energies.

Your spell hones in on the Nightmarish influences in the surrounding area. You automatically know if there is a manifested Nightmare within range, be it summoned, bound to an artifact, possessing another, or similiar.

Manifest Horror

Range: Willpower Bonus Meters
Target: Special
Duration: Willpower Bonus Rounds
You channel a sickening flow of the Void's raw power and force a brief rend in the fabric of reality. A Void Horror manifests immediately. Roll an Opposed Channel(Void)/Willpower test against the creature. If you win, the Horror will respond to one command you give it quite literally, then vanish, (assuming the command can be completed before the Duration ends). If failed the Horror attacks you.

Target: AoE (Maximum Willpower Bonus Meters across)
Duration: Willpower Minutes
Daubling an octogram to the floor and making the proper unholy warding symbols upon it, you ward against all nightmarish influences. Those with the Daemonic Creature Trait cannot enter or leave the octogram unless their Willpower is more than twice yours.
