Magitech Armor

Magitech armor is the most advanced personal armor in Terra. It has the following properties:
Defense 1, Soak 3, Encumbrance 3, Hard points 3, suit can environmentally seal for 1 hour. Wearer deducts 1 setback die due to smoke and darkness. Wearer gains +1 brawn and +1 athletics while wearing the suit. Equipping the armor takes 1d6 minutes unassisted and half that time with assistance.
While unpowered the suit loses its defense value, its encumbrance value becomes 12, and ceases giving a bonus to brawn and athletics.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Made with a portable steam engine as a primary power source. 1 gallon of fuel per hour and 12 gallon capacity. Wearer must have a cybernetic implant which costs 2500 and gives -1 strain threshold and have their blood stone inserted into the armor.
