Anya is a fiercely independent, strong and capable woman, whose resiliency was challenged extensively in her younger years. After being the main caretaker for her younger sister, and being tortured extensively by her pack, Anya was finally able to carve her own path.
Anya and her sister Lacy were both orphaned at a young age, leaving Anya to guide and raise her sister. Being so young, she made several mistakes, including joining a tyrannical pack that created a rift between the two sisters, pitting them against each other until the untimely death of Lacy.

Anya is small both in stature as a woman and in build as a werewolf. As a woman, she is of smaller, leaner stature with narrow shoulders and hips. In a fight, she must rely on her agility and flexibility, because most of her opponents are larger than her.

Personal history
Anya grew up in the icy wilds of the North with her father, mother and her sister, Lacy, who was four years younger. Her father was an accomplished warrior and a mercenary. He had always wanted a son, but settled for teaching Anya everything he knew in terms of weapons and combat. Anya grew up with a sword in her hand, though was too small to wield anything longer than a short sword. Her weapon of choice was daggers.
A few years after her sister was born, Anya's father went on an expedition south and never returned. After receiving word that her husband was dead. Anya's mother threw herself into an altercation that ended her life and left her two daughters alone. After living with a nearby pack for several years, Anya and Lacy left their homeland to try to find their uncle, who was rumored to live in Skölna. Their father had never been close with his younger brother, but he was the only family they had left.
Anya and Lacy never found their family, and instead were taken in by Emilian's old pack. At first, it seemed like a safe place for Anya, barely an adult, and Lacy, who was still a child. But it became clear that the pack was toxically patriarichal and controlling. Anya was not only tortured, she was compelled to do things against her will by the Alpha. Anya's naturally dominant nature and skill in combat were seen as threats to the heirarchy of the pack, and she was punished often as she tried to shield her sister from any abuse. As the years progressed, Anya's spirit was fractured, making her a shell of the young werewolf she'd once been and no longer the warrior her father raised.
Meeting Fallon
Meeting Fallon marked a new beginning for Anya. After nursing him back to health from a severe poisoning, against the wishes of her own pack, she was punished so severely that she was shaved and left for dead. Fallon returned just in time to save Anya from the brink of death, and brought her back to his pack. In a short time, they grew close, falling in love and eventually mating. In a confrontation with her old pack, Fallon was almost killed by her old tormentor and her own sister, causing her severe emotional trauma and guilt.
In time, Fallon helped heal the physical and emotional wounds and scars from her old pack and bring back the dominant warrior she once was.
Now
Today, Anya is a devoted mate to Fallon and the mother of three children: Evina, her eldest daughter, and twins Odhran and Thalia.
