Presavarius University

Presavarius University is a school devoted to the education of Wizards and bards and is closely associated with the Assembly of the Weave.  It is one of the largest schools devoted to this field of study in all of Tellenheim.  It is located in the city of Helletowne in the Eigerlands.

Purpose / Function

The university is one of the crown jewels for the assembly and many of their graduates move on to become high ranking members.  One of it's primary functions over the last century has been to offer the proper way to study spellcraft and to shame those that would practice magic outside of the laws laid down by the Assembly.  Students are selected for their ability to learn magic with the use of spellbooks, proper materials, and arcane history.  
Those that have innate abilities or power gifted to them from unknown entities are encouraged to come in for testing.  Many fail these tests and find themselves gentled or cut off from the weave through acceptable means.
