Porskan Crater
The Porskan Crater is the impact of a shardfall over 10000 years ago. One of the largest ever surmised by experts, though very few records exist from that time period.
Now the crater is a huge quarry. Several competing mines have been built into the side of the crater and the mine tunnels descend down deep into the earth. The companies and miners dig deep for shard rock and meteor metals that have sunk into the crust of the planet. A small mining town exists a mile away towards the river by the name of Vela'Rus.
