Personal history

Elias was taken in by the Durrilan Family as a child and raised as a servant.  The Durrilan's renamed him Hollander because of their distaste for his Halfling name.  He was given schooling and instruction on how to interact with the wealthy.  After 40 years of working as a butler in House Durrilan Manor he was released and began his collection of strange objects.

Education

He was educated amongst the children of Penthos but never gained access to any of the academies.  He is well versed in gentile manners and acting like the elite.
