Textile Guild Hall

The Textile Guild Hall is where all clothing, rugs, curtains, and other fiber products are made. There are several of these scattered through out each of The Great Cities. Whether or not they will produce one or several different items will depend on what resources are near by. The Talithan's use all biodegradable and renewable resources for their clothing. All of the Textile Halls are also set up to repair or recycle whatever products they create.   As an example, a guild hall that has access to bamboo and linen would produce several different items. Other than clothes, they may also make bags, mats of various types, sheets, towels, rags, and rugs. The size of the Hall may dictate the number of products that they make as well as need.   At least 50% of a Hall's production must be of staple items that are considered staples of Talithan society. They have a standard design for Clothing, cleaning supplies, bedding, and similar items. However, the Halls may also make more creative and artistic items as well. It is understood that artisans need to flex their creativity and so they are allowed. These items are sold for luxury credits, but at a set price. These items are bought directly off of the producer, also at a set price. This gives them pay right away and they do not have to wait for the item to sell. Those who feel that they should receive more have the option of selling their products through the same system as those who are self-employed. However, they must buy their own materials. When making products through the Textile Hall they are allowed to use anything at hand as long as it's not seen as excessively wasteful. When making items under the self-employed method, their only limit is what credits or trade items they have available to them.
