Ignis Scorpionems are insanely powerful kinetic canon uses by Sagittarius Battlesisters.
The weapon is mounted on both shoulder pads of the Sagittarius's armor, a weapon pod traversed by a flattened tube almost 3 meters long.
The gun is often wrongly associated with an electromagnetic railgun, while the general design is very close and the Ignis Scorpionem is actually a QFTM weapon.
It creates a wave on the Quantum Field Theta , creating an insanely high local gravity differential, akin to the one in close proximity of a black hole.
The exact way the weapon and its bearer is protected against this gravity field is currently unknown.
While it's theoretically possible to do both of these feats with Quantum Field Theta Manipulation, this will require a massive infrastructure. How The Sisterhood of Edda has managed to create a QTF Reactor compact enough to be carried on the armament pod, is unknown.
It would prove invaluable to be able to recreate this but every tentative of opening the weapon pod invariably resulted in an earth-shattering explosion.

Most working copies of the weapon out of the sisterhood are unexploded relique taken on the body of a fallen Battlesister. making them way to valuable to disassemble.

Studies on target hit by Ignis Scorpionems have shown that the weapon is a type of extreme kinetic canon. A relatively small munition is accelerated to a sensible fraction of the speed of light toward the target. The impact of the initial impactor creates a stream of high energy plasma tearing through anything that has the bad luck to be behind.
