I going to put my sculpture in the competition and I know it's going to leave a good impression on everyone who sees it. - Aspiring sculptor
A summer festival is used as a means to allow artists to express their work for all to see and with fabulous prizes along the way. This festival celebrates all forms of art and allows its competitors to express themselves with few restrictions on how they create their art.

History

A Time of Art and Fellowship

In the City of Rendoni, when summer comes to its stone wall, there is a seasonal tradition that dates back centuries for all to enjoy and participate in. The Summer Arts Competition is a time of creativity and self-expression even in a city known for its devotion and faith. For much of its architecture and monuments to that faith was done with skilled artists and craftsmen being able to express that devotion to it. It was through the will of Radiarch Rohas the Visionary, that the competition was created due to his dedication to the arts. From that day on the competition has remained one of the most anticipated events of the year in the city. As is has changed greatly as people can bring out the life in the city as they paint the walls and fly colored banners as the sounds of music and joy can be heard throughout the streets. Bring together the people in the ideas of culture and individuality to this day.

Time of Expression

There is a wild spirit found in all artists that must be released into the work that they craft so that they may find peace or be forever tormented by what can not be made - Anton the Mad, Famous Painter
The Summer Arts Competition is more than a means for artists to show their work to the people in order to gain recognition but is a means of expressing the ideas and creativity that is put into their work. For what is art but to express one's will in a physical form to be witnessed by others and to understand how the artist feels? To deny that will and restrict it because some people may not like is something that cannot be excepted by any circumstance. Art that can not be fully expressed is nothing more than a pale imitation of what it could really be.
