Old Man Winter continues his cold visit to the fair city of Metropolis. The City of Tomorrow looks ever more like Normal Rockwell’s city of yesterday.
It has been almost a week since the mysterious brown outs plagued the city and a strange explosion rocked the mid-town area in the late evening hours. Since then, it has been blissfully quiet, almost serene.
Yet under this tranquility, something dire works its way up from under the snow. Despite winter’s chill, the Black Blossom of Crime begins to bud, then slowly unfold while a cargo ship carrying experimental medical technology - new magnetic imagers and prototypes of a Regrowth Enhancer have been hijacked from the dock! The clues indicate Oscorp, but Oscorp denies any involvement. Somewhere along the waterfront, a lone tracking device begins to transmit from an undisclosed location.
