Atlantean Sibah Species in Tales from the Rookery | World Anvil

Atlantean Sibah

Since sightings of the Atlantean Sibah or just sibah are so rare very little is known about them and how they work. They've been seen swimming with all four of their legs and their tail for power. None of those who've seen the sibah have seen it consume any fish though they are almost always seen in the presence of other groups of fish many of wich aren't seen together.

Basic Information

Anatomy

With spiked scales like an armadillo lizard a reptilan head and a simple tail armed with a heavy club at the end good for dazing fish or waterfoul. While everywhere else on the sibah is armed with spiked scales its wide back sports a thicker section of tigtly layered flat black scales much like a shell but more integrated with the body. The Sibah is similar in size to a crocodile or aligator. The spikes on this creature are a dark purply color with the spines on the club matching.
Conservation Status
This species is an incredibly rare sight. Some don't even belive in its existance saying any photos are photoshopped. So since it doesn't exist there are no protections in place in the greater world. Though atlanteans are very protective of them and they have laws that protect them within their waters of influence.
