Amalle Geographic Location in Tales from the Hypercube | World Anvil

Amalle

Amalle is an "Earth" with geography significantly different from Homeline and has two moons. It is home to the island-state of Tomos, and the Tomosic Confederation, a sort of Neo-Golden Age Greek-like culture.
The world lacks large continents; most of the land, which covers 20 to 25 percent of the planet's surface, comes in hundreds of islands ranging between Puerto Rico and Cuba in size, with thousands more uncharted specks dotting the seas. The restrictions of island ecosystems mean that Amalle boasts a biologist's dream of biodiversity, each island bearing a unique niche in climates ranging from tropical to arctic. Only large deserts and plains lack representation.

Amalle is only one of many worlds that is accessible via "The Divided Land", a cavern complex that grants access to a number of "planes". Some mages say these are other worlds, while others state they are states of existence. Given the Divided Land can be accessed by Plane Shift, the Jumper advantage, and natural gate these other worlds are likely in other realities.

Some of these other realities accessible via the Divided Land are:

Gabrook: the desert home of kobolds and reptile men.

Olokun: a watery world home to merfolk.

Loren'dil: a temperate planet of halflings, centaurs, and giants.
