Church of Saint Emeline the Merciless

Saint Emeline the Merciless was a young woman who engaged in vigilante justice in the early days of the Autarch Republic. She single handedly took down one of the most dangerous crime syndicates in the Republic, and set a precedent of taboo in regards to crime and corruption. Though crime is not accepted in any society, it is especially looked down upon in the Republic thanks to her. The Church is one of the most powerful organizations in the Elmvale region. Not only are they one of the primary sources of religious and cultural works, they have legal authority as well. The Church does not often become involved in disputes of law and justice but when they do they are considered judge, jury, and executioner.
