Introduction
The Britannian Royal Navy is descended from the British federation Royal Navy and the United States of America's Naval branch. The Navy is the main arm of Britannia's power and influence, allowing her to extend power throughout the solar system. Ever since Arthur the great, the navy has reached for the goal of being larger than the next two navies in size, although this hasn't always been maintained currently is the case. The Navy is the pride of the Britannia's Military and guarantor of its Empire.Structure
The Admirlity
The Britannian Royal Navy is lead by the Lord High Admiral appointed by the Emperor and serves as one of the Emperor Ministers. He is responsible for overseeing various aspects of the Navy and Marines and overseeing over their operations. Directly under him is the board of Admiralty which is lead by the First Sea Lord, the board oversees the execution of the administration and operations of the Navy. The Navy has a wide variety of objectives such as fighting pirates and slavers in the asteroid belt and ort cloud(the collection of asteroids beyond the edges of the solar system, but not yet interstellar space) to a lesser degree, to projecting power to various independent nations from habits near the sun to the Jupiter and Saturn Spheres, the navy escorts Britannia vast merchant fleets in times of War, as well as establishes blockades on entire continents and directly combating enemy navies when they choose to challenge the Britannian Royal Navy in battle.Royal Marines
The Royal Marines is also lead by the Lord High Admiral. The Royal Marines are the primary ground forces of Britannia due to their ease of deployment across the solar system. The Royal Marines are specialized in orbital drops, boardering and besieging space stations, ship to ship boards although rare, most of the time they serve as typical ground forces.Assets
Home Fleet
The Home Fleet is the largest assemblement of ships Britannia has, being composed of several dozen battleships, one dreadnought, one twenty cruisers and hundreds of frigates and destroyers and even more corvettes and led by the First Sea Lord Admiral. In addition, the fleet has the support of hundreds of battle stations and fortresses in orbit above the Britannia Territory.Major Naval Bases
The Britannia navy is commanded at fleet headquarters located in Norfork Virginia which also a major navy shipyard. Several more key locations are naval bases on earth, such as Edinborough naval base with the European Fleet, the Alexander naval base for the Meditraitian fleet, the Bombay Naval base for the Indian Fleet, the Sydney naval base for the Occitania fleet, and San Diego for the Pacific fleet.Ship Types

Battleships and Dreadnoughts
Battleships are the largest starship reaching three km, and each has massive amounts of firepower. Battleships are mostly automated but maintain a crew of around 15k, with about half of that being marines. Britannian Battleships in particularly forgo some armor in exchange for speed allowing them more easily cross the vastness of space. Dreadnoughts are the rare version that is even bigger and more powerful but are too unrealistically expansive to maintain as such Britannia has the only one remaining the Arthur.Cruisers
Cruisers are the more economical option for large numbers or the poor man's battleship. Cruisers vary in length and firepower greatly depending on their subclass, from .5km with light cruisers which are specialized in dealing with smaller ships and fighter craft, to 1km the midpoint cruiser which balances escorts roles and capital roles, and 1.5km geared more towards the ship to ship engagements losing some capability against smaller ships and fighter craft. The Britannian Crussiers is unique in the sense they reduce the number of fighter craft to on cruisers to mostly scout craft in exchange for more various additional guns and marines.Escort Ships
Destoyers
Destroyers are the largest Escort ship class at about three hundred meters and are fairly well armored and armed for its role. The Destroyer's primary duty is to protect the Capital Ships from other Escort class ships and sometimes cruisers. Britannian Destroyers are typically better armed and armored than their foreign counterparts, largely due to the need the Britannia's navy to cover a wider area which has caused Britannia to relay on cheaper Destroyers when they can do so.Frigates
Frigates are the offensive arm of the escort ships, around 100 meters, frigates are lightly armored but fairly well-armed and fast enabling them to outpace and destroy isolated capital ships by attacking as a group or wolf pack. Britannian Frigates are often given better armor than their counterparts in order to increase their survival rate, although this must be made up of more powerfull engines.Corvettes
Corvettes are the smallest and most common ship class at around a few dozen meters. Corvettes primary serves as protection against fighter craft and against other escorts. They generally are weak unless in numbers, although even then won't stand a chance against a capital ship. The Britannians primary uses them as coastal defense ships, helping catch raiders and smugglers and are not often used in battle due to the navy's preference to use frigates and destroyers instead which have greater range then corvettes as corvettes only carry fuel for planetary long voyages due their small size.Special Ships
Carriers
While anti-fighter weapons are exceptionally good, fighter craft can still be used effectively in great numbers, although all almost always drones. Its the carrier which carries most of these drones, which are strictly used in the battle against ships weakened by the capital ships offensive guns. The Carriers also serve as important logistics hubs for naval supplies to other ships in the fleet, or to support a ground operation.Rise above the Rest
