Eˈddeimron

The Eˈddeimron are a Finnu-speaking ethnic group who dwell in the freezing nation of Chillwind, a tundra-like environment where they work as skilled loggers in the Fangbrush forest, and as fishermen in the icy waters of the Istarung Sea. They are reknown for their ability to survive and indeed, thrive, in such inhospitable environments. In fact, not only are they capable of doing so, they strangely seem to prefer it - the hard work, long hours, and relatively solitary life.
They are related by blood to the Xūrtuū, another Finnu-speaking ethnic minority in the northward nation of Fierthain, and are regarded by them as cousins. The Eˈddeimron share most religious beliefs and cultural traditions with the Xūrtuū, making exchange that much easier, and the latter are primarily their point of contact to Fierthain's economy. However, as their work is vital to that nation's financial well-being, and they are also respected and valued by other members of Fierthain's population, including its dominant culture, the Hoˈfeina.
