Isynathyr (ih-SIN-ah-FEER)
Located on Lynora, the central and largest island within the Silverlight Isles, Isynathyr is the capital of the Moon Elf kingdom of Ilyalon. While each of the Isles are often considered to be small kingdoms in their own right, Isynathyrs status as the largest and most prosperous of the Moon Elf cities has made it the central authority among the Silverlight Isles as a whole. It's thanks to it's influence over the Isles, command over the Argent Sea, and it's place as the seat of power for the Moon Elf monarchy, that has cemented Isynathyrs place as one of the great cities of the Elven Kingdoms.
Demographics
The population of Isynathyr is almost exclusively Elven, with the overwhelming majority being of Moon Elf Descent. Among the cities population, the most common occupations include artisans, scholars, diplomats, and sailors.
Government
Isynathyr is directly ruled over by the currently reigning King/Queen. All taxes collected within the city are are used to maintain its infrastructure, with the remainder being stored in the treasury.
Defences
Isynathyr is surrounded by a stone wall, which is notable shorter and more artistically designed than those of other Elvish settlements, with various enchantments in place to provide extra defence. In the event that an enemy fleet makes it past the fortress of Ilya Alari at the mouth of the bay, whatever ships are in the harbour will focus on preventing the fleet from docking.

Infrastructure
There are a number of libraries, artisans workshops, and schools within the city, and there's a well maintained network of stone roads running throughout the city, and connecting it with the other settlements on the central isle of Lynora. Additionally, there's a large harbour connecting the city to the Bay of Stars, which serves as the primary entrance to the city and its centre of commerce.
Assets
Isynathyr has plentiful access to fish from the nearby bay, farmland around the city, and stone, metals, and Ithyrian Silver from the nearby mountain mines. Additionally, the city has a sizeable port with many ships, as well as a number of facilities for scholarly, artisinal, and smithing work.
Architecture
The buildings of Isynathyr are constructed from white stone with elements of wood and glass, as well as silvery embellishments. Like the majority of Elvish structures, the buildings of Isynathyr are designed with a graceful aesthetic, often featuring artistic representations of the moon and night sky, and are often built with large windows to allow a clear view of the night sky.
Geography
Isynathyr sits on the shore of the Bay of Stars, with grassy fields surrounding the city and the Lunen Forest nearby.
Natural Resources
Isynathyr has access to land for farming, wood from the nearby forest, fish from the bay, and stone and metals from the nearby mountain mine.
