The planet of Kaidryn saw a great storm rise over the planet for months that blocked out much of the sky. Though the sun shone through giving life to that which would otherwise die, the storms that followed wrought great destruction upon the planet, tides of the sea broke apart the land and titanic beasts woke from centuries of slumber.

Disaster / DestructionThe Great Cataclysm, also known as The Sinstar Reckoning or The Wrath of Dahak, was a terrible event where a great celestial body crashed down into the eastern continent of Hekuda within the planet's surface. This meteor was so vast that it would surely spell the end of all life upon the planet's surface, but it was not to be. A shield of radiant light formed around the crash site attempting to hold in the meteor's power, and though it succeeded, millions died during this event, including the entire nation of Tazanti to which the meteor struck directly at its heart, leaving behind a valley of death, ash, and molten rock pouring out from a volcano formed from the meteors destruction. -

The Sinstar Reckoning
Cultural eventDuring the event known as The Great Cataclysm, much of the ranking officials within the nation of Rhella died, whether in their sleep or during their travels, including the currently acting pope. There was no flaming sword marking the new ruler this time, instead a new pope rose the marbled throne, proclaiming themselves the Patriarch of Rhella, Tihridan Shakhala, and that the deaths of those officials was a sign from the divine of the sin that filled the church, the falling star a cleansing angel that had fallen from the heavens and ended the unworthy, thus naming this event as The Sinstar Reckoning.
