These small circles of vibrant blue metal glow with power. Etched into their surface are a multitude of unknown runes. The rings fit perfectly into the inner diameter of any chakram, snapping into place with 1 minute of careful action.
Chakrams that have a phasing ring attached to it gain the ability to phase/pierce, and return to your hand no matter what obstacles lay in its path. Once per attack roll, a thrown chakram may pierce through your first target, striking any secondary target in line with the first, using the same attack roll. (Draw a line from you, through your first target, and extend to the maximum thrown range of your chakram. Secondary targets must reside on this line.) . You deal damage to both targets, rolling damage once per target.
A phasing chakram may also phase through 5' of solid material to strike whatever lay on the other side -- however you take a -10 to your attack roll, unless you have some way of seeing what you're throwing at.
The phasing ring also upgrades the "Returning" special ability. Chakrams with both "Returning" and a "Phasing Ring" will phase back to their owners hand just before the start of their next turn; ignoring any obstacle, distance, or enemy in its way.
