Personal history

Younger twin sister to Alora, daughter of Nori and Aravun Selil appears as a bronzed elf or half-elven woman with rich strawberry blonde hair and shining yellow gold eyes. Older images of her tend to have the look of a shy goddess but in nearly all modern incarnations she stands with a fierce pride and inner strength. Beautiful and radiant she is nearly always seen carrying her divine weapon the Sun-Disk Chakrum in her modern incarnation.   Selilandra was sometimes referred to as Noris shy daughter, a goddess who in her youth would join the elven pantheon as a demi-goddess of gardening and plant care. A quiet and some say self-doubting demi-god she was content to care for her gardens and small flock of druids and plant lovers. While she loved her family she was often quiet and avoided being drawn into their boisterous ways.   Had it not been for the dark day when Nithor murdered her father she might well have never risen above her status as a demi-god or found the strength to become the goddess of hope. Selil was shaken just as much as her sister at the death of her father and like Alora the loss changed her. Where Alora became a guardian of the night, Selil took up her fathers mantle of the sun and vowed to become a beacon of hope and destroyer of creatures lost to darkness.   Since her rise as a sun deity her faith has grown leaps and bounds with the war with Hordain seeing a massive growth in her faith among humanity. The once shy young goddess is so very unlike the child she left behind when her father died standing with pride, confidence and as a symbol that with each new dawn there comes hope. While many elven druids still venerate her as a she was the majority of all of her elven worshipers have happily embraced her role as the burning rays of dawn and symbol of the power of hope to embolden mortal hearts and souls..
