Personal history
Originating from Atlantis, the Trenchians were a faction who weren't content with their underwater empire. They wanted the whole world to be apart of the kingdom. Even though most of the world had any idea of their existence at that time, Atlantis would not allow the destruction of the surface for no reason. The Trenchians would not accept this and tried to do it anyway, which caused the two groups to war. Atlantis won, and the others were banished to the trenches of the ocean.
Llarel is a descendant of this group, forced to grow up in the darkest reaches of the ocean. Their eyes grew bigger, and allowed them to see in pitch black darkness, they became slightly more like eels with slimy skin. Down there they still plot their revenge on Atlantis and the world. They often raid the Atlanteans, destroy submarines, attack boats and whatever else they can do to cause problems. Llarel is the most dedicated to this cause, going up to the surface world himself to scout out their defenses. He fights, steals and kills his way to way to information he needs, and deals with whatever hero that tries to stop him.
