Mondher had always felt something missing. His family were very devout muslims, for a time he thought that was the key but it did nothing. He couldn't believe in it even if he tried, he thought it was a lack of a social life and he gave that a shot. All those friends and he still felt empty, he tried sports and it did provide a comfort for him but it was not enough. When he was 12 he was in room watching tv when an american movie came on. Those were his favorite because of all the action in them. It was a prison movie detailing the realities of that life, but no scene was more compelling to him than the depictions of rape. Where most people feel sorry for the victim, he felt glee. The power the rapist had over him, hopelessness in the victim. He felt glee for the first time in his life, and he wanted that feeling forever.
Once Mondher hit 18 he started committing crimes with the intent to go to jail. He also had been weightlifting for a few years at that point so he could be ready. He started with small crimes because he was still nervous, but after getting away with it. He started doing what he really wanted to do.
