Personal history
Marc was clinically narcissistic, he thought the absolute world of himself. Marc truly believed the world should pave a golden path for him, in his eyes he was simply perfection. No one including his parents, friends, and multiple therapists could convince himself otherwise. Even as his own ego through roadblocks into his life he did not falter.
Marc only ever doubted himself once, after his friends couldn't take it anymore, he lost his job, his family wouldn't speak to him and his therapist refunded him for being a lost cause as he lost his house and now lived in rat infested apartment. At that moment he decided the world could not handle a being such as himself and the only option was to ascend. He wrote nearly 50 pages of apologies for his loss, and its affect on the world. He wrote to newspapers and even warned party planners they wouldn't make any money on the day his death was announced.
On December 24th, the day before he planned to kill himself he passed out drunk. Little elf like ice beings started appearing around him, and then ran off into the night. When he woke up his apartment was filled with expensive things, cellphones with videos of old friends begging him not kill himself, money, jewelry, clothes, car and house keys. Then the little elves appeared with even more presents, and one of them included a gun that shot ice bullets and a weather changing bazooka. He was so happy he changed his mind, and swore never to doubt himself again. Becoming the villain known as Saint Nick.
