Anise Noy had to deal with a very emotional mother growing up. Who was very distrustful of men, and a sad resentment to her daughter who had powers. Her mother lived a normal life before she became pregnant, working in the corporate office for a logging company. She also an activist who protested in her spare time, and she was disgusted when she heard of Woosh. Even though the events happened years ago she wanted to do something about it. But didn't have the time, she did it bring up her disgust about in public but no on any platform a large audience would see.
Unfortunately one of those people she was talking to, happened to be Woosh himself. Who was on the run hiding trying to live a normal live as best he could. He felt remorseful, but being in a conversation with this woman who hated him so much. Made him feel like he did years ago when he felt disrespected, so he did it one more time. When Anise's mother got pregnant she was very married, but her husband was away on business and didn't understand. She had no proof but she thought it was Woosh, but because it happened so long after the others no one believed her. She was labeled a liar, cheater, whore and her husband divorced her. She raised her Anise till she was 9 but her mental wellbeing declined, and she killed herself. Anise sadly found the body.
Anise wanted to find out the truth and found some of the people who were woosh's kids. She had a dna test done and found that it was. She changed her name then decided to use her powers to get revenge on all the people who denied her mother, and on Woosh himself. Becoming the villain Cadence, she would attack people and the members of the Serenity Union until Woosh confronts her himself.
