Reveka Aloumetri, Princess of Vielene

Legend has it that she was the first "real" superhero, as we consider them nowadays. This is true, but widely regarded to be a tall tale for the majority of the population, including modern superheroes. She was the Tarol, here a Grozni term which means "masked".   She was born in the late 1700s. Reveka was kidnapped by thieves as a young child and spent nearly ten years under their thumb. Eventually, through a combination of her own nascent superpowers and her parents' rescue efforts, she was able to escape. However, she was deemed to be rather eccentric after this point. While her older brother was eventually the one to assume the throne, she remained an active member of the royal family, termed Reveka the Odd by the rest of the court.   After her death, she was linked through stories and conjecture to the vigilante Tarol. The reasons were that they were about the same build and stature, that the princess had reason to have developed the stealth and breaking-and-entering skills shown by the vigilante. Conspiracy theorists pointed to reasons for some of the thefts this person committed, as they were usually directed against people that the princess had reason to dislike. In fact, sometimes this could be the only correlating factor, other than that the individuals were invariably causing harm to Vielene/Valgrozna.   A journal discovered and secreted by Reveka's family, passed down through the generations, revealed that the tales were, in fact, true. It also provided explanation as to some of Tarol's more spectacular feats by way of Reveka's superpowers. What exactly those powers were remains somewhat unclear. She lacked the exact words to explain herself, nor had she any reason to go into detail when writing in her own personal diary. Her desire for secrecy in her actions also probably prevented any experimentation into her own nature.
