Grozni

The people of Vielene/Valgrozna have had an interesting effect on the world. Of the two primary ethnicities found there, the Grozni have arguably had a significantly higher influence on culture.
Historically, while the ruling class tended to be a mix of both Veleen  and Grozni, the royals were exclusively Grozni. They claim it's because they were once tribal chiefs in the area and it just kind of grew into something grander, but everyone else is pretty sure that they just had the bigger weapons.
Namely, superpowers. While it cannot be shown that they were the origin point for superpowers in the known world (there are several other cultures with similar stories to theirs all across the world), they were the first to be publicly comfortable with them. Which came in handy for them during the World Wars and after, since they had some of those people basically create a bubble and hide the whole country.
It is from Grozni cultural ideals that we get a lot of the most common practices for a superhero in the modern age. They value privacy extensively, and it was considered polite to have two names, a public and a private one. Or perhaps multiple public names, depending on the circumstances.
They were also very careful about the ideas of balance and "fairness." Their justice system actually extended to other countries, essentially shipping their criminal cases to other countries to ensure that the most unbiased party possible could try the case. You can trace the cultural practices around organizations like SIVIC back to them, the idea that true justice can only be applied by those looking in from the widest possible variety of sources.
