Wyrm Straits

The Wyrm Straits are the passage separating the inland Wyrmsea from the Lunar Sea, the true sea which fed the Wyrmsea at its birth.
When the catastrophe known as The Sundering happened in the centre of the continent, the magical eruption crumbled the north-eastern edge of the landmass, allowing the Lunar Sea to rush into the newly-formed crater. The rubble remaining formed the islands of the Strait, many of which were later settled by survivors.
The islands of the Strait include the Vines, Snowbird Island, the Tangles, the Burrows, the Fallen Four and the island of Azoria.
