Brankara

Located northwest of Bajapur, Brankara is an independent kingdom noted for its rolling expanses of farmlands. Commonly considered the breadbasket of the region, it is the main source of food for Bajapur and enjoys significant unspoken protection as a result.
Brankara has its own professional standing army. They are mostly occupied defending against hobgoblin incursions through the mountains of the Belt of Medusa, and outlaw raiders from the Barrens. The army is composed of units of heavy infantry accompanied by heavy cavalry, led by knights drawn from the nobility. All units are well-equipped and dedicated.
