Azorian Warden

The Wardens are the guardians and law-enforcers of the magical realm of Azoria. Spellcasters and soldiers who have proven themselves trustworthy and reliable are invited to join the island's Order of Wardens.
Each Warden swears magically binding oaths to uphold the spirit of the law, to serve the people, and to protect the realm. Afterward, they are linked to the enormous ward-crystals which lie underneath the island, powering the island's defences. They are able to pull magic from the crystals to cast more spells than normal, and leech magic from attacks against them to feed it to the crystals.
The Wardens alone can walk through the bewildering fogs that cover Azoria's borders when attackers approach, and can summon fierce magical storms in combat within the island realm. They are commanded from offices within the Great Hall of Thought in Azoria's capital, receiving their orders directly from the archmages that rule the realm.
