King Vephar , Lord of the Seas (a.k.a. The Exalted One, Separ, Vepar)

Vephar, Lord of the Seas was one of the Dragon Kings who lived prior to the Flood of Light. Once ruling over the seas from the palace of Lympha Regia, Vephar was killed in the Cataclysm and his palace buried in the ensuing Flood.
Vephar's skeleton remains deep within the Western Separ Sea, with his spine forming the foundation of Aguata Island. The Kingdom of Lacus Litore maintains that individuals born with the ability to manipulate Odic Water have been affected by Vephar's lingering energy and will to live.
While worship of Vephar is no longer the primary religion of the Kingdom of Lacus Litore, the people of Aguata Island remain staunch believers in the Lord of the Seas. Due to its foundation being Vephar's own spine, the people of the island worship him as their guardian deity and refer to him as The Exalted One.

To his faithful, Vephar offers the domains of Decay, Moon, Plague, Water, and Wyrmkin.
Vephar offers followers either the Heal or Harm divine font spell.

Physical Description

Special abilities

In the time prior to the Flood, Vephar was revered as both a boon-granter and cursebringer. He was able to govern both the seas and the monsters within, as well as guide the flow of oceanic currents.
During the Great Divine War, Vephar gained sway over fishing, prognosis, infirmity, corpses, and disease.
At the request of his faithful, Vephar could temporarily churn the seas and form illusory ships from coral.
Working alongside the King Paimonia, Vephar also perpetuated the water cycle by causing rain and evaporation into clouds. His work with the King Naberius entailed creating snow and ice storms.
If so requested by one of his faithful, Vephar could bestow the Curse of Festering Sea. This curse would cause the afflicted to die in three days as their wounds festered and worms ate at their body. Vephar could also reverse the curse at any time within those three days if requested by the same or a different worshipper.

Personal history

Vephar was once the lord of all water, and ruled from a palace deep within the sea known as Lympha Regia. It is said he had 29 legions of lesser dragons under his command who would do his bidding.
During the Great Divine War, Vephar was responsible for the deaths of five of his fellow Divine Dragons:

• Vasago, Prince of Prognosis
• Chax, Marquis of Infirmity
• Bifrons, Earl of Corpses
• Marbas, President of Disease

Most sapient sea-dwelling monsters in the current day still revere Vephar as their father and mourn his loss.
