World Root
According to the beliefs of the Aldtruth-Kept Dwarves the Prime World Disk is upheld by a root-like growth at its bottom which they refer to as Jirask.
They believe that Jirask has existed since the eldest days when the Prime World Disk was created and that since then its many tendriled roots have spread throughout all of the Great Everything.
Further they believe their species originated as maggots among this root and that one day the so called bindroot will grow to be a tree large enough to shelter the whole Prime World Disk from the scorching light of the Seven Suns much like the Umbral Cloak once did.
This World-Tree-Yet-to-Come is also known as Morgentree or the Eik of Tomorrow.
Aside from the Dwarven Aldtruth-Kept the World Root is a the subject of the faith and cult of the Listeners of the Root among the Eldest Faith of the Forestfolk.
