Quietus Library
In this town of Strixhaven is a library called the Quietus. it is a three-story building, one of the largest in town, and holds more books than the rest of the town combined. Anything can be found here: cooking to religion to magic to history. The Quietus also hides knowledge of both the town and the college, including some very dark secrets.
The main entrance is a rotunda with a statue of a gold dragon wyrmling sleeping atop a pile of books. The books are a statue, the wyrmling is not, being an actual adult gold dragon who enjoys sleeping on books and fucking with new visitors to the library.
The dragon knows all, or at least knows where to find all information in his library, but he does not give direct answers, preferring to make his guests search for the information themselves, with the aid of a librarian. The only exception to this is when the information involves the secrets that the town or college hide, in which case he will lead the seekers directly to the knowledge.

Preserve and disseminate knowledge, hold the truth, guard dark secrets.
Architecture
A three-story, domed building, much like Sorcerous Sundries in Baldur's Gate, this library has an entryway that leads into a rotunda. In the middle of the rotunda is a statue of a gold dragon wyrmling sleeping on a pile of books. The books are a statue, the dragon is actually an adult gold dragon who choses to polymorph itself into a wrymling and sleep on the books to prank new visitors.
Tourism
Not many tourists visit this place, with the exception of the occasional family visiting their student at the college. Visitors usually stay at the Cozy Cat or the Lazy Dragon. A few very daring ones might stay at the Sighing Spectors, but only if they have not heard about the reputation of the place.
