Keldar's Hall

This is the final testing place of Keldar, the most legendary trap maker to have ever lived. In most places, he is now little more than a myth. Keldar's hall was the last place he built and is supposed to be the pinnacle of his craft. Half a mile from one end to the other the myth has it that the floor is tiled in different colors and the number of traps built into the hall is impossible to count. The width of the hall varies depending on who is telling the story as well as how high the ceiling is. The oldest stories say that there is only one decoration in the hall and otherwise it appears barren of any furniture. What that decoration is, is argued over and again seems to depend don't he storyteller, most elves say that it is a mage's staff, the kobolds claim it is a shield, dwarves, saw a bow that a phantom archer appears to wield, gnome stories usually claim it to be a sword. The next most common answer is a chair that may or may not be trapped or may need to be sat on to disarm other traps. No one has ever been able to confirm having been to Keldar's hall but magi of various kinds have learned through scrying spells and prophecy that a place by that name does exist somewhere but the exact location seems to be protected from magical divination.          The legend has it that anyone who can walk from one end of the hall to the other is granted a single wish, one not limited by the bounds of spells nor the whims and interpretations of some magical creature but the wish as intended. This prize as well as the secrets of one of the greatest trap masters ever; has been a lure to many people. The hall is rumored to be in many places but no one seems willing to confirm where it is. This has led many to conclude that the trap is that there is no hall. That no such place exists, the only trap that cannot be overcome is the one you weave in your own mind after all.
