Stormbridge

This world started as a challenge: In five minutes create a fantasy world that has all the classics, elves, dwarves, orcs, trolls, and whatnot. Then make it different enough to be interesting. GO!   Stormbridge is a fantasy world where humans are the newest race and not a very welcome one. Elves wield power from trade centers where the flow of goods brings them the necessities of magic. Halflings have come to capitalize on their hospitality and are the greatest merchants and traders. Kobolds descended from the lost dragons, spend their time in nature and wield it's arcane power.  Gnomes weave arcane powers from the shadows animating the dead to serve in their physical stead. Dwarves are nomadic and travel in caravans of clans. Goblins build wagons and weapons that change the tactics of war with their versatility...   Stormbridge brings all of the familiar races and peoples that fantasy readers and players have come to expect and then changes the flavor with a bit of practicality and by making a impactful history that has changed the culture of the people as they lived through it.
