Saturn
Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and the second-largest in the Solar System, after Jupiter. It is a gas giant with an average radius of about nine and a half times that of Earth and is most famous for it's massive set of rings visible from earth adding to it's colossal number or moons totally 82 moons. Also an odd feature is the hexagonal waves of gas at its poles which are often the subject of legends.
Though still the site of much mining and research work, the planet itself like every gas giant contains an immense amount of mystery, both resistant to being explore and too large to bother doing so. Many [Titans believe Saturn has a will of it's own and claim monsters live in it's rings, but the people of titan are known for their superstitions.

History
Saturn was an early target of space industry after Gravity Engines made shipping, while not easy, profitable. Especially not worthy were the rings rich deposits of Ice, mines of which were key for the terraforming efforts throughout the system and headed by the Rhea Frost Miners Inc based on the aforementioned moon. Meanwhile Titan was mostly a major resource colony and the terraforming hobby of the Arnest Sons Inc who invested immense amount of funs in industrializing and populating the Moon and exploring it's methane oceans.
Saturn was largely spared from The First Wave, with less of a thousand alien wrecks crashing into the system, most lost in the rings. This left the two major colonies and several mining and refining ventures stranded on a distant world. They would develop a massive rivalry that would turn hostile several times.
The final conflict had Rhea reaching out to the then Jupiter Compact to intervene in the conflict. Doing so Europa built a gate around Rhea and in doing so they ended the war without firing a shot. All parties agreed to form the Celestial Connection forming a new power in the solar system.
Since then and in large due to Titans focus on martial concerns, Saturn has turned both the ice mining and ship building center of the CC. Around it's rings sit many a shipwright station building the unique and advanced vessels CC is known for.
Though advanced now thanks to Europa and Io's technical pursuits, Saturn is still seen as somewhat of a cultural backwards region of space, distant from the light of the sun and lacking in even partially terraformed moons.
