Bio-Mechanics

A technology focused on the altering of ones biology via genetic manipulation and nano-machines. Named after the idea of viewing biology as a machine that can be altered and upgraded and biology also as the best means of doing so, utilizing virus' as nanomachines.

Utility

Bio-mechanics can be used an effective means of permanently altering ourselves without, or at least with minimal implants and doing them permeant. This can be extremely important as implants require immunoinhibitors, and specialized care and can not grow with the body or pass down to new children. Bio-mechanics, which uses nanomachines, usually altered and reprogramed microbots or in more advances sciences hijacked virus's to alter the structure and DNA of the body allowing these changes to be replicated and not targeted by the immune system of the body. The wide use of bio-mechanics has lead to a dramatic need to re-question how one defines human. Basic Biomechanic products are widely available commercial products. Using bio-mechanics to alter ones hair color, give one horns or unique eyes, are all available for premium customers, however more advanced biomechanical require doctors or advanced implants used by Bio-Mechanics - Druid.

Discovery

The field of Bio-Mechanics was first opened during the early days of the United Earth Sphere but was quickly made illegal. However after the Human Elevation Foundation separated from the UES they did so specifically to utilize the science which is still being spear headed by the Aphrodite Institute of Bio-Mechanics.
