Episode 7: Our Better Selves

Episode 7 starts immediately after the ending of Episode 6: The Longest Hours with the crew on the way to the Gorivaz System.
Nali begins the mission by saying Anaya is her highest priority, which bothers some of the team. However any strife quickly fades as the shuttle lands on Gorivaz.
Walking into the base via a maintenance system, Nali recalls the time she was rescued by Anaya

from a Hegemony Prison.

She was recruited as an operative, and in fact was mentored by, and teamed up with Anaya on her first time back into the Hegemony.
As Nali is recalling her first mission the team finds some guards walking through the base. Nali abruptly rushes one of the guards causing the team to have to fight the remaining opposition.
As the team fights the guards Nali is trapped with the one she rushed, an old friend Show Spoiler

named Ula.

Having survived their respective fights the team discovers that the guards comprise many different races.

one of the guards is Inari. Another is Jurion.

If Rin is on the team

Rin will run to the downed Jurion, and access their memory. Using the gained knowledge Rin is able to lead the team directly to Anaya. Nali will recount the last time she saw Anaya as they walk the corridors of the base.

If Kani is on the team

Nali will try and lead the team to Anaya, recounting the last time she saw Anaya. The team will find a lab, not with anaya but with some Hegemony experiments inside. After they log their discoveries, Sam or Armin (depending on who is on the team) will lead them to Anaya after having translated a database).

The team finds Anaya in a lab, she's alive, barely, due to Hegemony experiments.

though she has been severely altered, her mind broken and her body changed in strange ways.

The Commander will interrogate a prisoner, gaining some insight into the experiments done here. Then the team will leave with Anaya being carried by Nali.
Entering a hallway the team run across a forcefield, trapping them. Hearing footsteps they see a Vilar walk into the hall way ahead of them.

Nisho, another friend of Nali

They transport Anaya to them, before pulling the Nali to them bound in a forcefield.
A battle of words and taunts culminates in injury and death.
Back on the Inanna, the Commander and the Captain talk over the results of the experiments done to Anaya. The only help for her may be the medical lab on Korina Outpost, and the Inanna sets off.
After some down time with their servant the Commander is called to the Captain's Ready Room to go over the latest news while they travel to Korina.
If you chose to infiltrate the Hegemony in Episode 5

A spy in the Hegemony says they have taken the bait, and want to recruit and test the Commander. The Hegemony contact will likely try and meet with the Commander on Korina. Turns out the contact is the Hegemony Administrator on the station. He has a mission for the Commander, once the Commander has successfully taken over the ship. Finally, they can begin the mission, and Captain Zal, is no longer in Command (officially anyway).

Vorin contacts the Commander, trying to find the Captain. He has a mission, something the Captain will take great interest in.
